Job Purpose and Objectives
To ensure the delivery of quality services and activities by Hong Kong Well UK.
Main Responsibilities
- To be the first contact point of clients who seek help.
- To coordinate with volunteers, case officers and specialists to ensure the delivery of quality and timely services for clients.
- To review counselling services provided to clients and report with recommendations to the trustees.
- To coordinate with volunteers and vendors to ensure the delivery of quality projects and webinars.
- To provide information to the funding officers for the preparation of regular reports required by the fund providers.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the trustees, colleagues and volunteers about the funded projects/services.
- Any other duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to administrative works) identified by the trustees as are within your capabilities and level of responsibility; in order to meet the needs of Hong Kong Well UK.
Terms and Conditions
- Terms of appointment: Fixed term for six months from the signature date of employment contract.
- The salary will be £16 /per hour.
- Normal working pattern: 30 hours per week from Mon-Fri.
- Payment of workplace pension scheme(3%) and national insurance contribution.
- All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
- Appointment will be subject to two satisfactory references.
- 7.5 days annual leave entitlement (excluding bank holidays).
- At least one day free of responsibilities each week.
- Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) disclosure.

Applicant must meet ALL of the following requirements
- BNO Visa holder
- More than 5 years’ experience in social work, family service or education specialising in children and family relationship in BOTH Hong Kong and the UK.
- More than one year’s working/volunteering experience with UK charity organisations or CIC serving Hongkongers.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
- University degree holder
