Job Purpose and Objectives
To raise fund and to increase the profile of Hong Kong Well UK among fund providers
Main Responsibilities
- To explore funding resources applicable to Hong Kong Well UK
- To prepare funding application
- To advise the trustees on funding application matters.
- To prepare regular reports if required by the funding providers
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the trustees, colleagues and volunteers about the funded projects/services
- Any other duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to administrative works) identified by the trustees as are within your capabilities and level of responsibility; in order to meet the needs of Hong Kong Well UK
Terms and Conditions
- Terms of appointment: Fixed term for six months from the signature date of employment contract
- The salary will be £16 /per hour
- Normal working pattern: 12 hours per week from Mon-Fri
- Payment of workplace pension scheme(3%) and national insurance contribution
- All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed
- Appointment will be subject to two satisfactory references
- 3 days annual leave entitlement (excluding bank holidays)
- At least one day free of responsibilities each week

Applicant must meet ALL of the following requirements
- BNO Visa holder
- More than 5 years’ experience in funding applications in BOTH Hong Kong and the UK
- Ability to compile funding applications independently
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
- University degree holder
- More than six months’ volunteering experience with UK charity organisations or CIC serving Hongkongers
