Kent County Support Service Program for Parent and Children

2024 First Good News to Us All:

Kent County Council has rendered tremendous support once again for HK Well UK to launch the “Kent County Support Service Program for Parent and Children” from January to June 2024, aiming to help BN(O) families establish a healthy mental life.

The program includes a Peer Support Group to assist parents in articulating their mixed emotions and maintaining their social connection with mutual support in the community for sustainability. The Program also provides free counselling services in Cantonese for children under 18 to help them adapt to new environments. In addition, voluntary social workers from Hong Kong will help parents in understanding the emotional, learning, adaptation, or special educational support needed for their children.
